It's nice to have a step by step plan already in place so that work team adults & kids know what do to. The only thing I would add is making sure that the person in each of these roles -i.e. Executive Director, safety coordinator and or others are clearly identified in work team leaders folders that they take with them to the sites & that necessary phone numbers are included ( if they're not already). Having this in place will really save time and calm everyone down because it's hard to think clearly when you're in the middle of an emergency so this will be very helpful. I'm also glad to see the section on sexual harrassment. Luckily, nothing like that's happened since I've been a part of the organization that I've known about, but I like the fact that once we adopt these policies as a board that everything will be in black and white so that expectations and procedures are clear to everyone. That way, if something does occur the person/persons involved will know how to proceed & we won't have to stop & take the time to figure it out when we're in the middle of a camp or /Wild Game Dinner.
