We are a growing local non-profit based in Lake Jackson, Texas that offers its employee the opportunity to impact the community for Jesus Christ, flexibility, and an excited board of directors.

The Organization: Faith in Action of Brazosport is a local non-profit and is committed to meeting the needs of the elderly, disabled, and chronically ill through student work camps. We build wheelchair ramps, paint houses, yard work, handrails, etc. We are known for the great love we show to clients and employees alike.

• We have been changing lives in Jesus’ name for over 20 years.
• We believe in Jesus’ call to take care of the widows and orphans in our community.
• We offer significant flexibility and freedom to lead the organization alongside the board of directors.
• The pay we’re offering is $400/month (approx 15$/hr) plus incentives.

Requirements:

• A heart for Jesus Christ, Youth (6^th-12^th), the elderly, disabled and chronically ill.
• A passion for engaging local churches to act on their call to care for the weak around us.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating/ Leading four (4) youth camps held through the spring, summer, and fall
• Recruiting additional board members
• Empowering area churches to get involved in the mission
• Pursuing grants and other funding opportunities
• Seeking additional opportunities to serve the community
